Artifact label reads: Quack Galvanic Belt Addison Unknown Date This belt contains copper and zinc pieces separated by blotting paper and cotton cloth. The metal pieces were used to conduct electricity into the patient s skin. The electric current was supposed to improve a number of ailments including rheumatism and poor circulation.
