Battery-Operated Dog Yonezawa, Tokyo, Japan Circa 1960s This battery-operated dog will walk, sit and wag its tail, all by using the remote control. Founded in the 1950s, Yonezawa Toys Co. Ltd. specialized as one of the most “prodigious post-war toy manufacturers.” They focused on battery-operated and mechanical toys from the 1950s through 1998.
