The lid of this spherical inkwell has Kufic script engraved around the center which comes up like a spire. The outside of the lid has three handles and engravings that look like chain. The body of the inkwell has three engravings that look like birds with human faces. In between the bird engravings are handles. There are three handles on the inkwell body and they hang like door knockers. The base of the inkwell has an engraving of a bird but this bird is different from those that are found on the sides of the inkwell.Use
