This plant-eating giant is now known as Apatosaurus. In the 1940s it was thought that the Apatosaurus spent most of its time in the water. Hence, Knight depicted these creatures wading in a lake. Now Paleontologists know that the Apatosaurus were adapted to living on land and would graze on the tops of trees.Collection
