Manchu lady's Dragon Jacket for a woman of the Imperial Household.
The jacket is made of deep blue silk, richly and colourfully embroidered with gold and cotton thread. Dragon patterns are symmetrically designed in the front, back and shoulder parts, around with colourful clouds, and sea-water-and-cliff patterns (海水江崖纹) at the lower bottom. It is binding with clouds patterned edges. The jacket is centre opening and fastened by five heavy brass buttons at the front.
