Black silk wedding jacket heavily embroidered with sea-water-and-cliff patterns (海水江崖纹) occupied the lower half part in gold and silver thread. The threads in different colours give a muted effect. The centre front opening, neckline, cuffs, back and front hemlines and side vents are edged with blue/green silk, binding with embroidered patterns. The wedding jacket is centre opening. Roundel floral motifs are embroidered on each front, one through central opening, one on each shoulder, one high centre back, one either side mid back.
Jacket fastened by 5 silk loops and catches and the high embroidered collar by a further 3 small fasteners. Lined with pink silk.Acquisition
