Copy of an old F.J. Stumm ad from the 1890's with a handwritten note on the bottom possibly from Frank Stumm Sr. It says:
A man of sense willing and anxious to be of service as would not tolerate around me a Boy who will be handing(?) at every piece of work that will not finish itself ---- now that ought to be plain -- or is it not yet plain to you. have $120.00 that I expected to pay interest on money borrowedCollection
