Cabinet photo of a young woman with a stylish hat. It is in a studio. The image shows some foxing. It came from a photo album of portraits with some photos with names of subjects. Family names: Durrant, Pfister, Dalton, Reynolds, Booth, Gucker. Album is covered in red plush. This photo is not named.
The photo is by the studio of Bradley & Rulofson. They made the claim that they were the only studio with an elevator in 1870. The Photography Art Association of the Pacific censured them because they said the claim was not true. The studio removed the claim from their advertising after this. This may mean that the photo was taken closer to 1870 than 1890s.Collection
