Cabinet photo of a man with a scroll around the photo. It is in a studio. The image shows some foxing. It came from a photo album of portraits with some photos with names of subjects. Family names: Durrant, Pfister, Dalton, Reynolds, Booth, Gucker. Album is covered in red plush. This photo has the name Roy Pfister written below it in the album and the name "Roy" on the front of the photo. The back of the photo has "Emma" written on it.
Roy Pfister (1875) was the son of Sarah L Gucker (1849). The one connection we know between the Guckers and the Daltons was from a sister of Sarah's named Emma (1853) who was married to William Dalton (1861) who was a brother to Alfred Dalton Jr. This could be why the back of the photo has the name "Emma" written. She would have been an aunt to Roy Pfister. (See attached family tree.)Collection
