This is a scrapbook/photo album of World War II news wire photos and news text of the war in the Pacific. It features some graphic photos of prisoners of war and soldiers wounded or killed in action. None of the photos will be uploaded to our online archive and will only be available on the Museum's computers.
The photos will be accessioned individually along with the original text supplied with the photo where it is still intact.
This is a loose photo that was at the back of the scrapbook. It shows Marines on Guam under fire.
