This is one of three baskets made by Native Americans. Not sure of which tribe but a note that came with them says they are"Northwest California Indians". The baskets are made of Willow and Spruce. One of the baskets was used for acorn mash boiling.
This is the smallest of the three baskets. It is just 3" across. It is also the most rustic. The ends of the twigs used to weave the basket still have bark on them.Collection
