Pamphlet-like book on "Barnes' Natural Slant Penmanship, No. 5." Printed in 1900 and 1901. The inner cover has photographs on how to hold your pen, as well as directions. Each of the pages are headed by a sentence in cursive, to be copied below on lined paper. The first few pages have been used, many have not. At the top of the cover, it has been written in cursive, "Lester Crooks, Benicia, California".Collection
