Bottle found at Benicia Barracks site; found near current site of the National Guard Armory on Hillcrest Avenue in Benicia. Brown pottery bottle used probably for mucilage or ink. (The wide mouth is usually associated with mucilage.) Bottle likely made in the United Kingdom, as a "master refiller" for smaller ink or mucilage bottles. Bottle has large jagged hole near bottom.
