Crockery bottle found at Benicia Barracks site; found near current site of the National Guard Armory on Hillcrest Avenue in Benicia.
"Ginger Beer" bottle. These were shipped as ballast from the United Kingdom to the west from 1849-1918 (Prohibition). Coal from Mt. Diablo or Cobblestones were sometimes used on the return voyage. Tan top - off white or cream colored bottom.Collection
