Cardboard box for holding glass plates used in photography. The box is 7 x 9" and held 12 6.5 x 8.5 Dry Plate glass negatives. The manufacturer is "Cramer's Lightning Gelatine Plates". There is some writting on the outside but I can't make it out. It may say "Owners". The box has "No 7" written on the outside. Inside are some yellow tissues used to separate the plates. They have some writting on them but it is too faded to read. There is also a yellow paper piece with a circle cut in it and "2 un" written on it. May have been used for printing the negative. I've seen this on some of the glass negatives.Collection
