Box built by Laurence Fish to house Henrietta's medals from the Mechanics Institute. It is made of wood and has a fish carved on top. There are 10 circular spaces inside to house each of the medals that Henrietta won for various artistic accomplishments.
The Mechanic's Institute was an organization started in 1854 an "insitute- a school of technology, a library and a lecture hall for the education and advancement of toilers in the field of mechanical arts". It was an educational institute for artisans.
