Box for the Purple Heart medal. We have the shipping box and the box which used to contain the purple heart.
John C Harrison lived and attended school in Benicia. We have a couple of school photos that include him in 1932 (3rd grade) and 1935 (6th grade). His father was Sam (Sampson) Harrison who was a switchman on the railroad. His mother was Anna and he had a younger sister named Patricia. His father also played semi-pro baseball in his younger days.Collection
