Kodak No 4 Folding Kodet Camera. 1894-1897. Folding bed camera for 4 x 5 plates or special roll holder. Cube shaped when closed. Early model has vertical shape. This is a later model with horizontal body. Had a Gundlach Optical Co external shutter and probably lens too. The lens is missing. Also, the back is missing as well as a part of the door on the side.
Camera sold by California Camera Company of San Francisco, CA. Used by John Molfino to take early 4x5" glass plate negatives.Collection
