WWII US Navy Officer's Cap - part of a uniform of an Electrician's Mate, Chief Petty Officer (E-7) Construction Battalion (Seabees). Khaki upper, black vinyl brim, gold button at each side, 1-3/4" stretchy black fabric band all around above brim. Gold officer's insignia on front (USN on an anchor entwined with chain). Inside is a 2" leather band around the edge and there is a plastic liner at the inside top. The large inside label reads: "A Deluxe Cap / Tailored to Specifications / The Wolbro / [an angry flying eagle logo] / Stratosphere Weight / designed and made by / Wolf-Brown / Los Angeles / San Francisco / San Diego / California".
"Feather Weight" is stamped on the leather band. It is a size 7 cap.Collection
