Whereas, the Merit Advisory Board of the San Francisco Fire Department has carefully investigated the reports of meritorious conduct made on behalf of
Charles Fodrini and
Whereas, the said Board has adjudged that he did manifest outstanding bravery in the performance of fire duty on the
third day of March, 1963
and that he did voluntarily and at personal risk of life to himself and with full knowledge of the danger involved, accomplish his objective by preserving the public welfare and safety of the inhabitants of the City and County of San Francisco; and,
Whereas, the determination of the Merit Advisory Board has been approved as being in the highest department traditions, therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Fire Commission approves the findings of the said Merit Advisory Board and the recommendations of the Chief of Department, and the Fire Commission hereby grants him a class "C" award for meritorious conduct.
Adopted at a regular meeting of the Fire Commission.
