Chest with one drawer and storage area below behind two hinged doors;
could have been used as a wash stand to hold a bowl and ewer (pitcher);
has pieces on the back that indicate at sometime a mirror was attached to the chest;
may have come from one of the many schools in Benicia in the late 1800's or early 1900's;
dark wood with an interesting grain, which could be tiger maple.Collection
