Seth Thomas mantle clock, U.S.A. on face, Roman Numeral. Glass front door with gold painted design on it. Fancy carved woodwork on the brown, casing wood. Eight day and time strike. 21-1/2" in length, 14" in width, 5-1/2" in depth.
It belonged to John Gomo, who was a stone mason and sculpter. He arrived with his family in May 1859 was hired by the U. S. Army for work on the Clock Tower.Collection
