This coin was dug up by Mark Lacey when the foundation was put under the Union Hotel in the 1970's. It was purchased by Veronica Tipton.
The coin is a 1962 (2505) 1 Baht coin from Thailand. It is made of copper-nickel. The numismatic code for this coin is KM Number = Y84. It shows the Thai coat of Arms with the three headed elephant on one side. It is from Rama IX and shows King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the other side. A copy of the coin in uncirculated state is shown in the images as well as scans of the Museum coin.Collection
