Description

Copper coin about the size of a half dollar. One side shows symbols of the masonic lodge. The other side has "one penny" in the center with "R.A.M. Chapter 7, Established April 30, 1855, Benicia, California" on the front side. R.A.M. stands for Royal Arch Masons of the York Rite branch of the masonic order. These coins were given to members of Chapter 7. You were never "broke" if you had one of the coins.
