Contract/Proposal - Bid from Graham and Jensen, building contractors. "We propose to do alteration work on the City Hall of Benicia as per plans and specifications by J.B. Bickford for the sum of $6800.00." It also lists alternate bids if some of the work is omitted. Work was to be done on the Capitol building which was serving as Benicia's City Hall at that time. The bid was dated January 9, 1942 and signed by Howard Graham.A 10% deposit check of $700.00 was enclosed with the bid.
