Scope and Content

File titled "Correspondence Semple" contains many pages. Letter sent to O. J. Wohlgemuth, Walnut Creek written in 1950 from J.W. Wells giving detailed information concerning Robert Semple. Mr Wohlgemuth and Judge Wells, Ribbon Kentucky, had a series of letters regarding Robert Semple's early life in Kentucky. Mr Wohlgemuth was contributing chapters to a four volume history of Free Masonry in California which was published in 1950. The volumes are available for reference in the Benicia Public Library.
