Scope and Content

File titled "Correspondence Semple" contains many pages. Letter from The Grand Lodge of the State of Louisiana to O. J. Wohlgemuth, Walnut Creek written in 1950 stating a fire in 1848 destroyed the records Mr Wohlgemuth was requesting. Mr Wohlgemuth was contributing chapters to a four volume history of Free Masonry in California which was published in 1950. The volumes are available for reference in the Benicia Public Library.
