Carbon copy Letter sent to Missouri Historical Society by O. J. Wohlgemuth, Walnut Creek written in 1950 plus the Society's reply. The reply states the Society does not have the resources to research the requested items. They do state that a Mrs Simmons, a member of the Society's staff, offered to undertake the reserch work on her free time for a fee of $1.00 per hour.
Mr Wohlgemuth was contributing chapters to a four volume history of Free Masonry in California which was published in 1950. The volumes are available for reference in the Benicia Public Library.Collection
