Correspondence - a group of seven letters which represent an exchange of letters in 1968 between L. R. Weinmann, Ernest Wichels and Steve DeBenedetti regarding Benicia History. Among the topics of Benicia discussion are The Solano Hotel, St. Augustine's College and St. Mary's College. There is also information about the Weinmann family, early settlers in Benicia. page sizes range from 7-1/4" x 10-1/2" to 8-1/2" x 11"; some of the letters are handwritten and others are typed. There is mention of the Solano Hotel in a Squibob article on Benicia in 10/03/1850 as the only hotel in Benicia. There is also an advertisement for selling the Solano Hotel in the Daily Alto California of 03/11/1853.
