Deed - Indenture - notarized on January 15, 1898 Farmers & Mechanics Savings Bank for a deposit of $100 passed to W.L. Crooks property described as Lots Numbers nine (9) and thirteen (13) in Block Number 21 as described upon the official map of said City [Benicia] the purchase price in the sum of Two Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars remains unpaid, the payment of which is secured by a deed and the party of the second part [W.L. Crooks] will pay the amount to the party of the first part [Farmer's & Mechanics Bank] two pages - 8-1/2" x 14" it is a legal form completed in handwriting
