Deed of Conveyance From B.U. Steinman and C.H. Cummings of Sacramento to W.L. Crooks and Fannie Crooks, his wife, the indebtedness being fully paid, the following property was assigned to W.L. Crooks, his wife, Fannie, and their heirs forever. "All that certain real property situated in the City of Benicia, County of Solano, State of California, and described as follows, to wit: Lots numbers Nine (9) and Thirteen (13) in Block number Twenty-one (21) as described upon the official map of said City, now on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County of Solano, State of California." Recorded in Solano County Recorder's Office Book 6 of Trust Deeds page 179 on January 15, 1898 and witnessed on February 24, 1900 by Notary Public Malcolm C. Glenn, impressed seal and 10 cent documentary stamp two pages, back to back - 8-1/2" x 14" it is a carbon copy of a typed legal form
