This envelope was used by Laura Benet to mail a wedding picture (BHM1996.041.0001) of the parents of Jane McCarthy to Jane in Gualala California from New York City. The wedding had taken place at the Benicia Arsenal when Jane's grandfather was stationed there in the early 1900's. There are 4 - 3 cents stamps on the envelope (12 cents total for the mailing across the country in 1949)Collection
