This is a small envelope originally used to hold developing paper. It held Solio Paper made by Eastman Kodak. It was sold by Otto G. Trautz a Kodak Agent in Benicia. The paper was 3.25 x 5.5 inches.
The back has a stamp saying the paper will be replaced if defective. It is also date stamped 08/16/1906. Written on the envelope is "San Francisco". This probably refers to the negatives that were stored in this envelope which were of the San Francisco earthquake in 1906.Collection
