This is one of three baskets made by Native Americans. Not sure of which tribe but a note that came with them says they are"Northwest California Indians". The baskets are made of Willow and Spruce. One of the baskets was used for acorn mash boiling.
This is the middle sized basket. It is 4" across and about 1.75" deep. The sides are very finely woven and the bottom uses wider material.Collection
