This is a glass plate negative, 5x7". It was used by Frank J. Stumm in his postcard business. This image was probably taken by Mr. Stumm circa 1908 - 1912.
The image is of a house and point of land overlooking the Carquinez Straits. There is a plant with steam boats pulled into their docks across the water. Not sure where this was taken. The note on the envelope says this is a copy of Petersen's. This is probably Otto C Petersen (1882 - 1950) who was an armature photographer in Benicia. He worked as a clerical at the Arsenal for a while around 1910.Photograph Details
