Description

This is a letter from Chauncy Wetmore in Benicia to his brother-in-law regarding the shipping of merchandise on the ship Caroline. The date at the top says it was written in 1848 but Samuel Gray wasn't in Benicia until 1849 so that date must be incorrect.
