This is a letter from Chauncy Wetmore in Benicia to his brother-in-law regarding the shipping of merchandise. In a previous letter he had arranged to have some goods sent via the ship Caroline in an arrangement with Capt. Perry for $2,000. Samuel Gray had them shipped via another ship and Mr. Wetmore is not pleased. He also talks about a warehouse they are having constructed and delays encountered.Collection
