Description

This is a letter from Levi P. Hubbard of Middleton, Conn. to Samuel Gray in Benicia dated 12/13/1851. The letter concerns tools that Mr. Hubbard was told by C.E. Wetmore in January 1851, were sold for $450 but not yet paid for. He was also told that there was a mortgage on the tools and the shop where they were sold.
