This is a letter to Samuel Gray from Chauncey Wetmore in Benicia dated 01/09/1854. Mr. Wetmore is tendering his resignation from the Board of the Benicia Female Seminary (Young Ladies Seminary). Mr. Wetmore and Samuel Gray along with other prominent Benicians started the Benicia Female Seminary in 1852.Collection
