This is a letter from C.E. Wetmore in Vallejo to Samuel Gray in Benicia dated 10/19/1856. The letter discusses money owed to Robert Hubbards by Mr. Wetmore. There was some misunderstanding about when the loan shold have been repaid.
Mr. Wetmore talks of the Republican Convention being held on Thursday (10/23/1856). He suggests Mr. Gray run as a supervisor and says that Mr. Houghton suggests Mr. Sheldon for the Legislature.Collection
