This is a letter from Samuel C Gray to Edward Crocker dated 04/04/1859. It was written just after Mr. Gray left on a trip. It mainly talks about people he forgot to say good-bye to. He does mention staying the first night in the What Cheer House in San Francisco. He also mentions the fact that his subscription for improving First Street in Benicia may come due while he is gone and instructs Mr. Crocker how to deal with it should that happen.Collection
