This is a letter undated to Harriet Wetmore Jones from her mother Rebecca Wetmore regarding family matters. The first thing Rebecca mentions is that Lucy and the children recently left for California. Lucy visited the East Coast in Spring to Fall of 1859. This letter was probably written that year.
