This is an undated letter from Rebecca Wetmore to her daughter Harriet Wetmore regarding Samuel and Lucy Gray's travel plans and family matters. Rebecca gives advice to her daughter about taking care of her back after being confined for so long. She also says that Harriet needs to decide on the baby's name based on what pleases her and her husband. The fact that Samuel and Lucy Gray are visiting the East coast at this time and that Harriet has just had a baby suggests that this letter was written after June of 1859 when her daughter Bertha was born.
