This is a letter to Samuel C Gray from S. D. Wetmore dated 09/20/1865 regarding purchasing the second volume of a publication by Horace Greeley. Most likely this is Mr. Greely's 2 volume text on the Civil war ("The American Conflict: A history of the great rebellion in the United States of America").
