This is a letter dated 07/17/1866 from Mr. Edward Gray to Mr. Samuel C. Gray regarding mostly family matters. He starts by congratulating Samuel on the birth of a daughter (Lucy Gertrude Gray 1866 - 1937) and mentions the marriage of a relative named Lewis. (This could be Lewis Gray Wells (1841 - 1913) who married (05/21/1866) Mary Ellen Wetmore (1834 - 1874).
