Description

This is a letter dated 03/23/1879 from Henry Wetmore to his sister (probably Lucy Wetmore Gray in Benicia). He talks about his weakened condition and susceptibility to colds. In the letter he talks about a doctor "Edward" and where he might start a practice. They are probably talking about Dr. Edward Gray (1849 - 1920) who is Samuel and Lucy Gray's oldest son. He says he plans to buy Samuel Gray's Golden Gate stock soon. He also mentions running the mill which seems to be a stamp mill for processing gold ore.
