This is a letter dated 04/16/1879 rom Mr. Edward Gray to Mr. Samuel C. Gray regarding family matters and his unhappiness at St. George's concerning his remuneration. He also talks about reports in local papers regarding mines in the Comstock Load area and their future. (At the time the speculation had to do with the impact the Sutro Tunnel would have on the mines if/when it was completed.) The rest of the letter talks about investments and business.
