2024.10.1.223Description
This is a letter dated 05/02/1880 from Fanny Allen to Mr. Gray. Ms. Allen is in Oakland but also writes about something in Stockton. She gives advice about how to "win" a woman and at the end asks to be remembered to all the family.
She is busy with a "Loan Exhibition" which is an exhibition of items loaned to be displayed in this case at the Walker Mansion in Oakland. Miss Allen is working in the "library" section of the exhibit as is Theodore Gray (1855 - 1941). This letter may have been sent to Theo rather than Samuel C Gray.
