This is a letter dated 06/28/1880 from Mr. Edward Powers Gray to Mr. Samuel C. Gray regarding his travels and old friends. Edward travels from Baltimore to Boston and on to Providence. He describes sailing to Boston and the changes he sees in that town. He then describes Providence likewise and tells of the relatives and friends he visits. He describes the graduation and the alumni association meeting in detail. He mentions a speech by S. F. Smith (author of "My Country 'Tis of Thee").
