Description

This is a letter from Edward Gray to his brother Samuel C Gray dated 07/26/1881. They are staying at a farmhouse outside Baltimore and seem to be enjoying their time. Edward mentions several other family members and then comments on President Garfield and his hopes that he gets better. (This is just a few weeks after President Garfield was shot. In a couple of months President Garfield will die of his injuries and poor medical practices.)
